About Brooke
Brooke is a self-taught landscape painter who began plein air painting in 2009 and has since developed a distinctive style focused on human perception and sensory experience. Her deconstructed technique resembles modern pointillism, using blocks of color to create dynamic compositions that capture the vibrancy of everyday scenes. Brooke’s recent acrylic works blend traditional and contemporary landscape painting, maintaining energy through broken color techniques.
An exhibiting artist for over a decade, Brooke’s work is nationally and internationally recognized, featured in galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest. Highlights include a feature in Plein Air Magazine (September 2022), recognition in American Art Collector Magazine (2019), and selection as one of the “21 Artists Under 31” by Southwest Art Magazine (2016). She has won awards, including Best Oil/Acrylic Painting at the 2018 Carmel Plein Air Competition and accolades at regional paintouts. In Seattle, her art can be seen in local businesses and art walks. Outside of painting, Brooke is a world-ranked pinball competitor.
