The show that insisted on three dimensions. Next Level was built around the conviction that sculpture at JG belongs in the same argument as the painting program — not decorative, not supplementary, but central. Barbara Duzan's bead-pressed clay animals. Julie Anne Mann's bronze and natural material constructions. Work that requires space to fully exist.
