# Fresh Arrivals: Experience New Works From Our Featured Artists

We’re thrilled to announce an extraordinary collection of new works has just arrived at JG Art Gallery + Events. This curated selection showcases the remarkable talent of five artists whose distinct visions and innovative techniques will captivate collectors and art enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re drawn to the meditative quality of printmaking, the fluidity of watercolor, or the experimental richness of mixed media, these new pieces offer something truly special.

## Nature’s Poetry: Prints and Paintings That Celebrate the Natural World

Brian Fisher’s “Song of the Swainsons Thrush II” is a stunning woodcut print that captures the delicate beauty of one of nature’s most melodious birds. There’s something magical about the way woodcut creates such expressive detail—each line and texture tells a story of careful observation and masterful technique. At $1,400, this piece is an investment in timeless artistry.

Nature lovers will also find themselves drawn to the luminous watercolors of Pamela Wachtler. Her “Forest Garden” ($500) invites viewers into a verdant sanctuary where color dances across the paper, creating an atmosphere of quiet enchantment. It’s the kind of work that transforms a room and soothes the soul with every glance.

Wachtler’s “Upstream” ($400) presents an intriguing fusion of hand-colored photography or photogravure with watercolor. This mixed media approach creates layers of meaning and visual intrigue—a conversation between the photograph’s inherent truth and the artist’s imaginative interpretation.

## Contemporary Abstraction and Poetic Expression

Tim McMeans brings kinetic energy to his composition “On The Next Wind” ($500), a mixed media piece combining watercolor and ink on collaged paper. There’s a sense of movement and possibility here, as if we’re witnessing the moment just before transformation.

Completing our new arrivals is Lorri Acott’s “Sonnet 1” ($750), a mixed media work on canvas that marries abstract visual language with the lyrical tradition of poetry. This piece invites multiple interpretations, rewarding contemplation and deepening with each viewing.

Each work in this collection represents an artist’s unique voice and vision—pieces that don’t just decorate spaces but enrich them with meaning, beauty, and emotion. These are the discoveries that make collecting so rewarding: finding work that resonates with your spirit and speaks to your aesthetic sensibilities.
