Ericka Wolf

Ericka Wolf is a Seattle-based painter whose work moves around quiet, fleeting moments rendered in color and light. She studied oil and encaustic painting at the Gage Academy of Art and has continued her training at the New York Academy of Art and the Grand Central Atelier. Oil and cold wax are her primary media — built up in layers to hold a meditative, atmospheric quality across the surface.

Wolf has exhibited in both group and solo shows across the Northwest, including at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, the Bellevue Arts Museum, and the Museum of Museums. Her work is in permanent collections at Evergreen Hospital, Harborview Medical Center, and Overlake Hospital, as well as in private collections across the United States, Europe, and Australia. Her paintings have appeared on magazine covers and in the chapbook Flow Variations by poet Andrew Gottlieb.
