A snow shower crossing a mountain range in watercolour — violet peaks, a wash of falling white, dark scrub and a struck note of ochre at the foot. Thirteen and a half by thirteen. The flurry is painted as a genuine interruption: the mountain behind it is only partly visible and Walsh has not gone back to tidy the edge where the weather crosses the ridge.
