A canal running toward blue mountains under a pale sky, banks in green and ochre, nineteen by twenty-five. The water takes the sky almost exactly. Walsh's landscapes are quieter than her bird work and use a wider tonal range — this one runs from near-white at the horizon to deep green in the near bank.
