Bright rectangles and arcs in cobalt, cadmium yellow and violet sit on a white ground, with a yellow-and-blue toothed form running along the lower left that gives the painting its name. The handling is looser and faster than his other abstracts and the colour is at its most saturated. There is no attempt to disguise the fact that this was fun to make, and the split title is doing the same thing the animal paintings do — offering an ordinary word and then not quite meaning it.
