Blue and acid yellow-green fill the canvas, crossed by heavy black arcs that sweep from the lower left to the upper right, with orange struck along one edge of each curve. The arcs describe a figure turning — and, given the title, turning into something else. Fisher lets the transformation stay in the linework rather than in any depicted limb or branch, so nothing is half-tree and the whole picture is mid-change.
