Two figures stand in a tulip field with their backs to us, one in white, one in dark, the rows running away in bands of magenta, green and gold to a farmhouse and a yellow sky. Small — twelve by nine. The women are cropped at the calf by the flowers. This is the Skagit motif Currier has painted for decades and the figures are never incidental to it.
