A window above a sink, bottles and a jar on the sill, and the outdoor light coming through in cool blue against the warm room. The pun in the title is the only joke; the painting is entirely serious about the glass. Ingalls paints domestic corners that nobody would photograph, which is what she means by having a good excuse to notice her life with paint.
