A figure in profile against oxblood and gold, head tilted back, with a rayed form opening behind the shoulder like a wing caught mid-beat. Heavy black outline, flat interior colour, no modelling. Kalais was one of the two winged sons of the north wind who sailed with the Argonauts. Paired with Zetes at the same price and scale — they are never depicted apart and Fisher does not break the habit.
