Two hounds stand nose to tail on a golden maze, their bodies worked in ochre and rust against a cream ground, the labyrinth beneath them rendered as a flat interlocking key pattern. The animals are elongated and stylised in the Mediterranean manner and their legs align exactly with the maze's verticals, so the creatures and the ground share a geometry. A single impression; the title's mythology is left for the viewer to supply.
