As I stand on the shores of Bainbridge Island, I'm drawn to the intricate dance of sailboats and dock lines over the water. In 'Lines Over Water', I work to convey the serenity of the marina, where reflections blur the lines between reality and illusion. Oil on canvas allows me to explore the depths of this scene, to tease out the subtleties of light and shadow. My brushstrokes are a reflection of the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore.
