The white barn on the Park City road, painted small and low against a great sweep of snowfield and a violet ridge, with cadmium and rose breaking across the mountain behind. Everybody in Utah has photographed this building. Wade gives it about a twelfth of the canvas and hands the rest to the light on the hill, which is the honest proportion of what makes the view.
