A mouse climbs a single wheat stalk and the stalk bends under it, arcing over until the seed head nearly touches the base. The whole sculpture is that curve. Duzan casts the stem thin enough to look genuinely loaded and gives the mouse a grip that reads as work rather than pose — hind feet braced, forepaws high. Fourteen inches of bronze holding up an argument about weight.
