A pale bird against near-black with cut and collaged elements around it — the only work here where Walsh builds a surface rather than paints one. Yellow and grey shapes are laid in beside the bird. Night flight is what most migrating songbirds actually do, and the picture is darker and stranger than anything else in her catalogue.
