Two panels set side by side: on the left, blue star and blossom forms scattered across olive; on the right, gold and dark motifs on a deeper ground with a small red grid at the top. The whole picture is pattern with no figure and no architecture. Fisher treats the lost Assyrian capital as a textile fragment rather than a ruin — what survives of a city is often its ornament.
