A rabbit in grey stoneware, sitting upright, wearing a single strand of white pearls at the throat. The clay is left matte and lightly textured, the ears held alert rather than lopped, and the necklace is the only glazed element in the piece. Duzan does not caricature the animal to accommodate the joke — the rabbit is modelled straight and the pearls are simply there, which is why it lands as affection rather than whimsy.
