A tall narrow panel of falling water and wet rock, sixteen by eight inches, painted in greys, cream and pale green. Small and vertical. Currier works up plein air studies like this on roll-up canvases when travelling — he and Anne Schreivogl each bring back sixty or more from a trip — and the scale and speed are visible in every stroke.
