Forest seen at eye level, the trunks holding their places while everything between them breaks into acid green, scarlet and cobalt — freehand abstraction spiralling out of a photographed wood. Guild has noted that these passages often recall West Coast First Nations design, and the ovoid and split-U shapes that surface in the foliage here make that hard to unsee once said.
