Small bronze, crouched on a wooden block, playing pipes with the knees drawn up and the head tipped back. Eight inches at most and the least expensive thing Fisher has here. It is his only fully modelled figure — everywhere else he works in cut profile — and the difference is instructive: given actual volume, he goes straight to the classical and stays there.
