A gorge seen from above, its walls running emerald, violet and cadmium, with a pale channel of water finding its way down the centre. Thirty by forty inches. The paint is worked wet and allowed to pool and run — geology described by letting the medium do what water does. Nothing in it is drawn; everything is flowed and then found.
