A wide ochre sky, streaked with white cloud pulled thin by the tilt of the panel, sits over olive-green hills and a pale band of water. Parvin's fluid method usually produces incident; here she has suppressed it, holding the pours to broad horizontal registers so the picture reads as landscape and stays quiet. The only disturbance is at the horizon, where the green catches and pools. The title is plain and accurate — this is a painting about a colour temperature, not a place.
