A ferry terminal at dusk: the boat lit up at the dock, its light running out across black water in long broken verticals, a rose and violet sky above. Two by three feet. This is her method at full stretch — dark to light, temperature carrying the distance, and reflected light on moving water caught from a video frame rather than a still.
