I walked into this one not knowing where it would take me — an abstracted melding of skyscape and cityscape where the silence isn't empty, it's heavy. The big move here was letting that dark mid-section hold its ground against the heat of the orange and the cold glow below, trusting that tension rather than resolving it. These are not calm waters; this is a series of intense moments frozen into a single frame.
