Cyan above, gold below, three feet square, with the transition placed almost exactly halfway up. Golden hour is the short window after sunrise or before sunset when the sun is low enough that the light turns warm and the shadows go long. The imperative in the title is what everyone standing in it thinks, and Wolf has said her work is about the moment before a sunset when the mind is quiet and open.
