Eight inches square — her smallest work. Warm grey falls through cream to coral and soft orange with no horizon line, no incident and no drawn edge anywhere. At this size the painting becomes an object rather than a view: something held at close range on a shelf or a desk rather than read from across a room. The method is identical to her three-foot panels and the whole thing costs a fraction of one.
