The Joy of You finds two swallows turning toward each other mid-flight, their dark wings caught in a moment that feels both ancient and immediate. I've built the ground in worn, layered texture — the faded teal, the weathered pale field behind them — then swept crimson and orange across the surface in bold horizontal bands, scattered with loose red blooms. Worn surfaces and distressed textures combine to create something soft and familiar; then I add that bold swath of color, the modern and unexpected: gentle old meets dynamic new.
