The surface under moving light

Three snowboarders walking left to right across a mauve ground, carrying their boards, seen from behind and cropped at the knee. Nine by eighteen inches — her smallest work and the most cheaply priced. The figures are built from flat colour with no faces and no detail below the shoulder, and the whole picture is about gait: three people walking the same walk slightly out of step.
