Birdhouses on poles stand over a densely patterned field of blue, orange and cream — spirals, stripes, scallops and dots covering every inch of the ground. Thirty by forty inches, her largest work here. This is Schreivogl at her most decorative, closer to textile than to landscape, and the birdhouses are the only objects that hold their shape against all that pattern.
