Two by three feet. A meadow band of violet and rust running the width of the canvas beneath a pale sky, the flowers implied by texture and speckle rather than depicted. There is not one identifiable bloom in it. Parvin paints the effect of a field in flower from a distance, which is the only way most people ever actually see one.
