I carved this small wren into the block the way I think about all the creatures we rarely pause to notice — as a reminder that the natural world is still here, offering a moment of quiet amid everything pressing in. The tulips rise around her in that flat, spare palette of black and orange and yellow-green, the way woodcut demands honesty: nothing hidden, nothing extra. I want this print to be a place you can rest your eyes.
