I work worn surfaces and distressed textures into something soft and familiar — here, two long-tailed birds face each other on flowering branches, pink butterflies drifting between them against a muted, aged ground. Then comes the modern, unexpected note: bold border passages in red, white, and orange cut through the quiet like a sudden sound. Gentle old meets dynamic new, and something reinvented emerges.
