Blue Skies Ahead (Bloedel Reserve)
I painted this sky because I needed it — that open, unhurried light breaking through cloud above the Reserve's meadow and treeline, small birds drifting at the edge of the frame. From the very beginning of my work, I made a conscious choice to portray the hope I find in nature, and this place holds exactly that — a moment of quiet after the noise, a reminder of the magical landscape I want to leave as legacy.
