A striding figure with a pair of antlers rising from its head, one arm held across the body, the legs mid-step and the whole weight forward. The patina is pale and chalky over the torso, warming to bronze at the legs. Acott gives the antlers real span — they are the widest thing in the piece — and the figure carries them without any suggestion of burden. The only work here where she grafts an animal onto a person.
