Djinn in the Jardinière
A plant in a container, drawn in unbroken black line over a ground of ochre and cream, with the leaves resolving into faces and limbs as the eye follows them. Fisher keeps the drawing entirely linear — no shading, no interior colour — and lets the ground do the atmosphere. The joke in the title is the scale: a djinn is an enormous thing and this one is in a flowerpot.
