A row of trees or vines running away from the viewer in acid yellow-green, with dark trunks cutting vertically through and a pale sky above. The foliage is laid in short knife strokes that keep their edges, so the whole canopy reads as texture rather than mass. Warmer and looser than Wade's winter pictures, and the only one here with no architecture in it.
