Hummingbird Bell
A hummingbird hovers above a hanging trumpet flower, the two cast as one and suspended from a single wire so the piece turns in air. The flower is the bell; the bird is the clapper's counterweight. Duzan works the wings as a blur of surface rather than as feathers — the only place in her bronze where she abandons anatomy for motion — and the long bill enters the flower's throat exactly.
