Peninsula Drift
Driftwood piled along a beach with a headland behind and violet cloud above. Eight by sixteen. The bleached logs take almost the whole panel and Weiss describes each one with two or three strokes — this is the Kitsap and Olympic shoreline, where the drift is enormous and permanent.
