Douglas fir, Ecopoxy (soy-based resin), acrylic paint. Square cedar, horizontal grain in dark brown throughout. Concentric circles in olive green, pale yellow-green, and cream. Small sage-green dots radiate outward from the center rings. Smooth acrylic application over carved wood. The Portal series examines the circle as a threshold — here in earth tones, the opening reads as ground rather than sky.
