Bainbridge Waters
Thirty by forty-eight inches, a wide harbour view. A blue and white hull lies moored at the left over still water laid down in long horizontal strokes of turquoise and pale blue, with masts and their reflections dropping straight through it. Behind, hulls and buildings break into blocks of blue, rose and cream, and a bank of ochre and green shore cuts diagonally across the foot of the canvas.
