A still life — pink sweet peas in turquoise jars on a scraped ground of cream and umber, with deep shadow beneath. Nine by twelve inches. Gienger-Stanfield says she paints landscapes and still lifes only on occasion, and the handling here is looser and faster than her figures, as if the pressure were off.
