Support
How can we help?
Collecting, shipping, provenance, portal access — or just a question about a piece on the wall. We respond to every inquiry within one business day. Usually faster.
Fastest route: write to us directly.
Collecting
Acquiring artwork from JG.
How do I inquire about a piece?
Use the Inquire button on any artwork page, or write to us directly. We respond within one business day. For works over $1,000 we prefer a brief conversation before confirming availability — the gallery moves fast and availability changes.
Do you hold works?
We can hold a work for up to 48 hours for serious inquiries. For works over $5,000, a 24-hour hold can be extended to 72 hours with a deposit. Write to us — we handle it case by case.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, bank transfer, and check for purchases over $10,000. For significant acquisitions we can discuss installment arrangements. Contact us before checkout for wire instructions.
Do you work with interior designers and trade buyers?
Yes. Net pricing available to qualified trade buyers through our Trade Portal. Apply once — your credentials are on file for every subsequent purchase.
Shipping & delivery
Getting your artwork to you.
How do you ship artwork?
All artwork ships fully insured via FedEx Art or White Glove delivery for larger and higher-value pieces. Smaller works ship in gallery-grade packaging with tracking and full insurance. International shipping available — contact us for a quote before purchase.
What does shipping cost?
Free within the continental US on purchases over $1,500. Under $1,500, flat rate based on dimensions and weight — calculated at checkout. Alaska, Hawaii, and international: contact us for a quote.
Can I pick up in person?
Yes — at either location. Bainbridge Island (176 Winslow Way E) and Park City (2870 Prospector Ave). Let us know during checkout or by email. We can usually prepare a piece for pickup within 24 hours of confirmation.
What is your return policy?
Seven-day return window from delivery for online purchases. Work must arrive in original condition. Exchanges with gallery credit are available and often preferred — we can help you find something that works better in your space.
Provenance & documentation
What comes with every acquisition.
What documentation do I receive when I purchase?
Every acquisition includes: a Certificate of Authenticity (signed, sealed, linked to your name and the artwork's provenance record), full provenance documentation, care instructions, and a permanent digital record accessible through your Collector Portal. For works $5,000 and above, a full research file is included.
What is the provenance record and why does it matter?
The provenance record documents the artwork's complete chain of custody — from creation to your ownership. It is anchored at the artwork image, archived permanently, and reissued to every subsequent owner. It is documentation that follows the work as long as the work exists — not a PDF that gets lost. Essential for insurance, resale, estate planning, and loan requests from institutions.
Can I get documentation for a work I already own that came from JG?
Yes. Write to us with the artwork title, artist, and approximate date of purchase. We can retrieve and reissue your documentation from our records.
I own a work that didn't come from JG. Can you help with provenance research?
Yes — through the Provenance Program. We offer attribution opinions, provenance research, and indicated market ranges for works you already own. You keep the work; the record stays with it.
Portal access
Collector, Artist, and Trade portals.
How do I access the Collector Portal?
The Collector Portal is gallery-issued — not open self-signup. If you have purchased from JG or are an active collector, write to us and we will set up your access. Portal login is at /collector-portal/.
I'm a represented artist — how do I access the Artist Portal?
Artist Portal credentials are issued by the gallery. If you're represented by JG and haven't received your login, write to Janet at the gallery. Portal login is at /artist-portal/.
I'm a designer or trade buyer — how do I access the Trade Portal?
Apply through the Trade Portal. Applications are reviewed within two business days. Approved trade buyers receive net pricing and a dedicated communication channel.
