Monroe Spit From Faye Bainbridge Park
A spit running out into the sound with an abandoned pier along it, mountains behind, painted from the north end of Bainbridge. Nine by twelve. The pier pilings are a row of dark verticals against pale water, and Wallis lets them recede by simply making each one shorter and softer than the last.
