Thin lines and scattered marks on a pale worked ground, arranged with no repeating interval and no settled direction. Where Ancient Scroll implies a lost script, this one refuses even that much structure and reads as pure sequence — one mark suggesting the next with nothing governing the whole. It is the loosest painting Juvonen has here and the closest to the jazz sense of its title.
