White wax maps a gray ground into irregular living fields — a web that is also a record of curiosity following its path through the unknown. Every line was raised, cooled, and decided to stay. It withholds the chroma the Spark works carry, which for a painter who describes her entire subject as fields of colour is a pointed omission — and the title suggests why: ideas before they have taken a colour.
