Let It Go
I work into the unknown with each layer of wax — fusing beeswax, damar resin, and pigment with the torch, then reaching down to excavate what's underneath. Here, I found myself noticing where that pale horizon line meets the field above it, the heat deciding where the white settles into relief against the blue-gray.
