I etched these traces of a late-summer forest — the hare pausing at the base of the old trunk, looking up into the canopy — because these are the quiet moments I want to leave behind, a legacy of the magical places here. The creature, the light filtering through toward the clearing, the stillness: this is where I find hope, and where I hope you find a moment away from the noise of the world.
