Snowy Day At The Bird Marsh (Bloedel)
I painted this corner of the Bloedel bird marsh on a quiet winter day, when snow was still falling and two small birds had settled into the bare upper branches above the dark water. This is the kind of place I return to again and again — not for drama, but for the stillness it offers, the hope I find in nature even in its coldest season. I want to leave a record of these magical places before they slip from memory. Oil on canvas · 2025
