At 24 × 60 inches, one of the larger vertical works in the Additions exhibition. Beeswax, damar resin, and pigment applied to wood panel until the surface carries enough depth to read across the room. The vertical format channels warm tones that deepen as they descend, the encaustic’s translucency turning each layer into a visible record of the one before it.
